The independent artisan coffee chain, SOHO Coffee Co. launches its new season’s menu today, 26th March. In true keeping with the brand’s ethos of ‘something for everyone’ the fresh menu focusses on its artisan roots and a range to satisfy the increasing demand for vegetarian and vegan options.
SOHO’s dedicated team of tastemakers have delivered their usual exciting taste combinations for the new season. Freshly prepared by hand, daily, in their Cheltenham kitchens, new flavours include the veggie Feta, Beetroot & Pomegranate wrap and Halloumi & Chipotle Focaccia Melt.
60% of the new range caters for vegetarians and 10% for vegans, as well as a wide selection for pescatarians; from Wasabi & Sesame dressed Tuna Salad to SOHO’s house-roasted Cajun Salmon Salad with basmati and wild rice, samphire, pea shoots, sun-dried tomatoes and lemon oil dressing. This season sees SOHO’s widest salad range ever, along with the introduction of compostable packaging.
Alongside existing favourites and new salad options, vegans have a wide choice: from an Avocado & Cashew Khobez or a Pumpkin Wrap brimming with fresh vegetables, pulses & grains coated in SOHO turmeric houmous. SOHO’s avocado, apple, lemon & kale smoothie, freshly prepared in-store, perfectly partners their vegan banana and chocolate cake and selection of raw bars.
With an eye for detail, this season sees a range of premium sandwiches made from SOHO’s own-recipe poppy seed bloomer. Their new special blend of Cashew Butter Granola punctuates the breakfast offerings; paired with blueberry compote & yoghurt, a choice of milks, banana & cacao or with raspberries, figs & dates in a coconut smoothie.
Other seasonal additions include their brand new hot brioche rolls, with breakfast fillings such as Chorizo, Avocado & Egg and lunchtime offerings including New York Deli Pork and Halloumi, Avocado & Chipotle Mayo. There are protein pots and a range of Mediterranean focaccia melts for those on the go, alongside ‘blend me’ smoothies. Iced tea and single estate 12 hour brewed iced coffee for the summer days to come, reinforce SOHO’s coffee connoisseur credentials.
