Our Mission for Muscles

We have some exciting news to share with you all!

We have become official partners with Muscular Dystrophy UK, they are our chosen charity for 2018-2019, and together we are aiming to raise £10,000 for the amazing cause.

Muscular Dystrophy is a muscle wasting condition which is currently affecting 70,000 children & adults in the UK. The team at MDUK do amazing work which includes funding high quality research, supporting families to get the fastest possible access to emerging treatments, ensuring everyone has the specialist NHS care they need close to home and supporting people to live as independently as possible.

MDUK has a very special part in our SOHO hearts. We were originally approached by a lovely lady called Lesley, she told us her story about her grandson who is affected by a form of Muscular Dystrophy, Duchenne. It was her story, her dedication and all round loveliness that hit us hard and made us all determined to raise as much money as we can for the amazing cause.

We have recently launched our company Just Giving page  which will show how much we have raised so far, from individual fundraising, in store events & till point donations.

We already have some amazing members of our team taking part in some very challenging events. Our Property & Acquisitions Manager, Guy has bravely signed up for an Iron Man Triathlon in Nice on June 24th, you can read his story & support him here.

We also have a very lovely group taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon, including our Head of Store Development - Fiona, Operations Director - Pete, HR & Recruitment Manager - Kath, Our Cabot Circus Store Manager - Shelley, and our Cabot Circus Store Supervisor – Ellie. Find out more & support them here.

The £10,000 we aiming to raise will enable 6 children who are affected by a muscle wasting condition to have a powered wheelchair, so are extremeley determined to hit our target!

Keep up to date on our progress on our social media platforms, and thank you for helping us support MDUK! #TeamOrange

The ‘Royal County’ brings you the Queen of Cakes

In honour of the Royal Wedding this Saturday we at SOHO will be celebrating this momentous day by launching a limited edition Royal Muffin. This is a take on the Royal Wedding cake, a delicious lemon and elderflower muffin, decorated with edible flowers, golden chocolate balls and rice paper union jack butterflies – the most beautiful thing to behold!

Based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, the same county as many of the Royals have chosen to make their homes, it seems only fitting that we should create a cake fit for a Princess.

Available in selected stores for the special day only!

Congratulations Meghan & Harry from all of us at SOHO

London, we're home!

Well, what can we say? This year so far has been a big one for us! As you might have seen on our social media, we have been busy busy busy, opening a total of 8 stores so far this year (and we are only just in August!)

Over the past 13 weeks, we have managed to open a total of 6 stores in London, and there is still more to come, so keep your eyes peeled.

Our big London journey started back in November last year, when we opened our first two stores in the Capital. The first on The Strand, directly opposite the Royal Courts of Justice and the second looking out onto St. Paul’s cathedral. That was a really exciting time for us, and the success of these two kick-started the big London expansion plan for 2017!

What feels like a long time ago, back in May we began by opening our two beautiful stores, the first on Baker Street, and the other within the O2 centre on Finchley Road (our first London store to offer our perfectly-sized kids range). Then we hit June, where our next stop was opening in the stunning building at 14 Austin Friars.

And then came July, which has been one of the busiest months we’ve ever had, with not one, not two but three store openings over the space of four short weeks, phew! On the 10th July we opened on Kingsway (our largest store so far), then a week later we opened on Grosvenor Street, in the heart of Mayfair. Then last but not least, we opened our store at Waterloo Bridge just this week, which is already doing exceptionally well, we are super proud.

But the fun doesn’t end there, oh no, we have more yet to come! With our next store opening on 4th September on Gresham Street, we hope you are as excited as we are. And to keep to date with our exciting journey, make sure you are following us on our social media platforms. Twitter: SOHO_Coffee_Co Instagram: sohocoffeeco

2017 So-Ho far!

Well well well, has 2017 been a busy year for us, and it’s only May! We are onto new store number 3, with many more coming up within the next few weeks, so we hope you are as excited as we are!

Throwing it back to 13th February, where we opened a new store in our hometown of Cheltenham. This store is located in an amazing spot at the Cheltenham Brewery Quarter, and was the first store to welcome our brand new hot food counter, which includes our brand new hot grain pots, mmm!

Then came the Bullring store, which opened on Sunday 30th April. This amazing store is located within Debenhams, and is the first and only store that offers our brand new Afternoon Tea. Shopping trips are now complete with our Tea for Two, which includes your choice of sandwiches, salted caramel pecan brownie, rainbow cake, two scones with jam & cream and fresh strawberries – and looks beautiful, if we do say so ourselves!

And then on Monday 8th May we added another store to our family, when we opened our beautiful store at Baker Street, London. This huge store is surrounded with windows so our SOHO lights can be seen from all around. The store is packed full with our freshly made lunch options, hot food counter and all the sweet treats and cakes to tempt you with!

The best of luck to all of our new stores, and our amazing store teams who are all working exceptionally hard!

And a huge thank you to everyone involved in this exciting journey that we are on, this is just the beginning of our London store opening sprint, so watch this space for many more, or follow our progress across our social media platforms. (@SOHO_Coffee_Co)

Hello Cheltenham .. Again!

And.. we’re open at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham!

This is our fourth store in our hometown of Cheltenham, but we love this place, so why not!

The store is part of the new development phase of The Brewery Quarter, and sits on a large corner plot, leading onto the Lower High Street, perfect for a retail therapy pit-stop.

The Brewery store is our first store in Cheltenham to feature our specialist coffee menu which includes our fabulous frapps, which include our salted caramel and the chocolate nuttery buttery, which come served in a jar, of course!

The new store also features our brand new hot food counter, the first of its kind in our stores! So pop on in and try out new hot grain pots, soft flour tacos and our new sweet jacket potatoes, topped with your choice of our daily specials, from chickpea chana masala, Texan beef brisket chilli to smokey meatballs.

We are open from 7am till 6pm and our store manager Lorena and assistant manager Emma, who you may already recognise from our Cheltenham Cambray store, cannot wait to give you a SOHO welcome, show you around the new store and introduce you to the new team.
